A whisper travels on the breeze, a tale spun from sugary lies and acrimonious truths. It speaks of a river, its waters glinting with the promise of ecstasy. But within its depths lurks a venom, a deceptive lure that promises wealth at the cost of innocence. They say those who stumble in its current are forever consumed by the stream's hold, their lives forever corrupted into a desolate melody.

On January 15th, 1919, Boston witnessed a disaster unlike any other. A massive tank filled with molasses burst open in the city's North End, unleashing a wave of sticky sweetness that crashed through the streets like a tsunami. The flood, reaching heights 25 feet in some areas, was catastrophic. Buildings were flattened under the weight of the sticky goo.
